- 2013-06-07 : Rating 5/ 5 : I thoroughly enjoyed a four-day trip from Durban to Cape Town with my sister from Northern Ireland. We departed on the Monday from Durban International Airport. Both flights, to and from Cape Town, ran smoothly with no delays. Upon arrival in Cape Town we made our way to Europcar where we collected a Kia Picanto. The pick up procedure was handled with expertise and took us no longer than 30 mins before we were on our way guided by a GPS which we also hired. We were heading for Cape Castle Hotel and reached our destination within a short period of time. I had only travelled to Cape Town in recent years to facilitate international travel and not as a visiting tourist to this exciting City. The one thing that did take me by surprise was the stench in the air as we travelled from the airport to the City centre. Phew! Sue

1 Apr 2010. Europcar unveils a new office at Cape Town International Airport, opposite the main airport building. The new offices are easily accessible to passengers from both the international and domestic terminals. A new addition is the Ready Counter where you can get your keys in 30 seconds: “Most customers, particularly if they are travelling on business, want to be on the road as quickly as possible.” said Dawn Nathan-Jones, CEO of Europcar South Africa.
