This week, we had a look at the bus and train prices
for travel from Durban to Johannesburg for the
Walk the Talk event. Shosholoza Meyl continued to be the cheapest option despite their recent price increase on all their fare options. Their economy class train fare has increased to R150 per person on this route (prices could change). The most affordable bus company for travel on this route was City to City at R190 for a one way coach trip (prices will change). The Discovery 702 Walk the Talk will take place on Sunday the 27th of July 2014 at the Marks Park Sports Club in Emmerentia. More than 2000 dogs and their owners will be going on their "walkies" together on this day, with distances of 5, 8 and 20 kilometres available for dogs and owners of all fitness levels.

Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire at OR Tambo Airport

This week we compared the prices of car hire in Johannesburg. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 25th of July 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 27th of July 2014. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R352 (Please note that prices are subject to change).
