In this week's survey, Kulula offered the cheapest flights on the Durban to Johannesburg route. Flying into Lanseria Airport was the cheapest option for passengers looking to travel to Johannesburg. The bus and train prices have remained stable since the last survey done on the Durban to Johannesburg route, with Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train offering travellers a one way ticket at R130 per person (prices subject to change). Visitors to Johannesburg should be sure to search Car Trawler for the best rates of car rental at OR Tambo Airport. We surveyed the prices of car rental with pick up and drop off at OR Tambo International Airport from 21h00 on Friday the 8th of March 2013 until 13h00 on Sunday the 10th of March 2013. A Kia Picanto or similar was R340 for the weekend's rental when we checked (R189 per day). Please note that prices may change.
