The peak season prices are out and low cost flying and overland prices are in for the end of February. Velvet Sky has the cheapest flight from Durban to Johannesburg for only R399. The business class flights have decreased slightly for this route but are still quite pricey, with British Airways being the most expensive.
All of the overland fares have decreased from Durban to Johannesburg. This could have something to do with the last survey prices for this route being over the New Year, the most expensive time to travel. Shosholoza Meyl is still the cheapest overland price.
