Lodge Hotel Reservations
Even though Road Lodge Hotel are the cheapest of the City Lodge hotel brands (Courtyard, City Lodge and Town Lodge), aiming at travellers with low budgets; many of them are well positioned and offer a comfortable, if basic, service. Those on flights will be delighted to know that several are positioned at hotels, and those wanting to go on holiday that there are several positioned in holiday resort towns.

Road Lodge hotels at airports are : Bloemfontein Airport (BFN), Cape Town Airport (CPT), Johannesburg Airport (JNB) and Port Elizabeth Airport (PLZ).

Feb 2014 : In its results over the 6 months to 31 Dec 20134, City Lodge reports that its Road Lodge brand has been struggling, with the South African consumer under pressure, and this being a sector which does not attract a lot of corporate travellers.

May 2010 : Road Lodge Southgate (Johannesburg, adjacent to Southgate Mall) is due to open. It will have 118 rooms.
