Somerset Sereno Gordons Bay
Situated just off the N2 towards Gordon’s Bay, this self catering unit is central to the Cape Winelands district, Gordon’s Bay and The Strand (False Bay & Helderberg regions). There are three golf courses in this region, Erinvale Golf Estate, Strand and Somerset West golf course. The Strand beach is a mere 10 minute drive away. If you enjoy golf you may want to take a golf train trip with Ceres Rail; which goes to Arabella and Hermanus.
Somerset West Mall caters for all your shopping, movies and restaurant needs. Most of the country’s best Wine Estates are located on the R41 travelling from the Mall towards Stellenbosch. A Platter’s Wine Guide is supplied in the unit for easy reference to the different Wine Estates. Monkey Town is situated down the road from the unit towards Gordon’s Bay. If you’re travelling from Cape Town International Airport, Somerset Sereno is approximately a 30 minute drive.
The unit comprises of two bedrooms with built-in cupboards, one full bathroom and an open plan lounge and kitchen area with granite tops. The main bedroom is fitted with a queen size extra length bed and night stands with reading lamps; the second bedroom consists of a double bed and a bunk bed (two beds on top of each other) with a night stand and reading lamp.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, microwave oven and a coffee percolator and kettle. You will also find all the necessary cutlery and crockery, and serving dishes that you may need. A breakfast nook between the lounge and kitchen serves for dining. The Lounge comfortably seats six people.
Towels and linen are supplied for use in the unit, but please bring your own beach towels. A set of gents and ladies golf clubs and beach equipment such as a beach umbrella, camp chairs, body boards and a cooler box and ice bricks are also at your disposal for use on the beach. There is a Weber Barbeque for use on the patio.
A cleaning fee is payable to their agent in Somerset West on arrival to collect the keys for the unit. Additional cleaning can be arranged at charge per day with the same agent. An additional deposit is also payable to the agent on arrival and is fully refundable on departure once the agent received the keys and checked the condition of the unit.
